Permanent Call For Papers: Open Topics

Historia Agraria de América Latina (HAAL) announces a call for open topic articles and book reviews with no restriction of themes, geographic areas and historical periods. The journal publishes articles and book reviews in Spanish, English and Portuguese. Manuscripts must be original and not in the process of being evaluated at another journal. HAAL also accepts manuscripts from economics, anthropology, political science, sociology and other disciplines that examine issues of rural society from a historical perspective. The journal prioritizes the publication of research that analyzes new topics and problems, makes theoretical and methodological contributions, and develops new interpretations. Manuscripts must be fully anonymized, that is, free of any identifying information in both the text and notes. Articles should have a length of 8000 words including notes and references and must be presented in accordance with the journal style guidelines. Book reviews should have a length of 1500 words, and must be written in formal, conceptual, and concise language.
