We invite submissions of unpublished articles to the journal Historia Agraria de América Latina (HAAL) for the dossier Agriculture and Food in Latin America and the Caribbean: History, Practices, and Resistances (16th–21st Centuries). This dossier aims to bring together historical research that analyzes the relationship between agriculture and food as an integrated and changing system over time in Latin America, based on the following question: How has the relationship between agriculture and food in Latin America transformed, and what challenges does it face today?

The Latin American Association of Rural History is an international non-profit making academic organisation, whose mission is to promote the research and teaching of Latin American rural history and foster collaboration between the academic communities of the region and similar associations in other regions of the world.
